Terms and conditions
It is the responsibility of the named person on the booking form to understand, agree, and accept responsibility for all booking conditions, including all payments due by specified dates. By proceeding to pay a deposit, you accept that you are entering into a contract and you agree to be bound by these conditions.
Minimum Booking Makeup artist requires a minimum booking of 3 adult clients – Saturdays, May-September at a wedding. (One bride and 2 others)
Booking your wedding date & trial
A non refundable deposit of £75 is required to secure your wedding date and this will be deducted from the final total. we can then schedule your trial 2-3 months before your wedding date.
Dates cannot be held without a deposit and the booking is not secured until the deposit is paid.
Trial fees are separate. Payment for the trial will be required 7 days prior to trial.
After completion of a successful trial, you have up to 48 hours to let me know your decision.
Wedding day The final and remaining balance set out on your invoice is due 4 weeks prior to your wedding.
Deposits and already paid trials are non-refundable.
Cancellations by client The client at any point in writing can cancel the event. The makeup artist will be under no obligation to refund any money paid up until point of cancellation, however the client will not be liable for any further payments.
Cancellations by Makeup Artist In the highly unlikely event of an emergency or illness on the part of the makeup artist, They will make every effort to find you an equally capable replacement artist who will fully briefed on your and your bridal parties looks, otherwise a full refund will be given.
Trials All trials take place at my home space in Stratford E15 East London (Zone 2-3)
Makeup Assistant fee Larger bridal parties or bookings with time constraints may require an experienced assistant at a fee of £75 per assistant.
Travel Expenses Travel/Hotel/Train/Taxi/ Flights/ Congestion to be arranged and paid by client – Parking Fees to be paid by client
If travel has to start before 5am on the morning of the wedding/it’s not practical to travel on the morning of the wedding (e.g there is limited time available, or severe weather conditions have been forecast) a simple hotel/B&B close by to your venue may be needed for the night before the wedding, arranged and paid by client.
Early Start Times In instances where client needs to be ready early, meaning that the artist would need to start before 7am then a charge of £50 will be added onto the booking.
Bank Holidays May incur an additional charge of £75 for Weddings on Bank Holidays
Client Responsibility It’s the clients responsibly to make the artist aware of any known allergies/sensitivities/skin conditions that they or their bridal party may have before any services are carried out. This includes before/during the trial and after if any sensitivities/problems have been found. If on the rare occasion that any of the bridal party have any contagious skin infections artist will refuse service.
The makeup artist cannot be held liable for sensitivities, allergies or skin/medical conditions that may affect the use of their products. Any losses will not be their responsibility due to the clients failure to inform or miss communication.
Time Delays The makeup artist will not be held responsible for any delays caused by events beyond their control. If you are aware of factors, which could delay or hinder the makeup artist journey, such as diversions, road closures, speed restrictions, satnav issues etc. please advise as soon as possible so that this can be factored into the journey.
Photography The client agrees that the makeup artist may use any photography for publicity purposes which include but are not limited to the makeup artist’s website and social media pages. Client agrees makeup artist may contact your photographer to obtain professional images.
The makeup artist reserves the right to refuse service to the client or members the party for, but not limited to, infectious conditions / abusive and threatening behaviour.
