In light of new Covid-19 I have completed two new courses on health and safety for the beauty industry. I have taken the Barbicide Covid-19 Certification Course as well as Safe Sets International
New measures in light of the current situation: we have to adapt.
Please inform me if you’re not feeling well before the booking as I’ll need to reschedule if you’re showing any signs of the virus. I follow the same guidelines myself. Also If you do fall ill shortly after our time together please do let me know as soon as possible.
Time – Makeup application will take a little longer now due to all the extra safety precautions.
Extra time will be needed for disinfecting the space and all our tools & PPE thoroughly in between clients. We will also need regular short breaks to wash our hands.
Work Space
It’s really important that the getting ready space remains clutter free and with great ventilation. This means it may get a little breezy from time to time if windows need to be kept open, so please keep this in mind. Only the artist and recipient will be allowed in the getting ready space to limit the number of people in the room and to minimise risk of transmission.
PPE
I will wear a mask and I’m happy for clients to wear a mask whist Im doing the eye makeup. I usually start with the eyes first anyway so the mask is on for some of the makeup application process, if the client so wishes. Obviously for foundation the mask does need to come off.
As mentioned above I will be rocking some PPE for you – This may change according government policy.
This includes-
- Professional Apron
- Gloves
- Face Covering/Mask
- Visor
Kit
I will be fully stocked with sanitiser, disinfectant wipes and all the relevant disposable tools. I may ask clients to bring a couple of their own products for me to use on them like mascara or lip products if necessary.
We’re all in this together and we all share the responsibility to control the spread of the virus. I want you to feel safe when booking my services!
