Bridal Makeup Artist, London
I’m aware that selecting your wedding makeup artist can be slightly overwhelming. Here is a little information of what you can expect in the lead up to your wedding when booking your wedding makeup with me.
I highly recommend you book your make up trial around 6 -12 weeks ahead of your wedding date. Your makeup trial is an opportunity for us to discuss any ideas and for me to help you create the makeup style you love, see your makeup ideas come to life. Its not intended to be a test of my services. To create the makeup look you love, I like the entire process to be collaborative, encouraging you to be vocal about what you do and don’t like during the session, together we work out any tweaks and changes you may wish to make or do differently on the day – ie change of lipstick colour. This is completely normal. You will need to allow up 2hrs for your trial, sometimes its a little less or more slightly more it depends on each individual bride.
Trials are carried out at my home space in East London and to fit around current wedding bookings so trial dates are subject to change occasionally. I recommend trials are scheduled during the morning so you see how you get on throughout the day, I work on a one-to-one basis only, (this means myself and the client only.)
On The Day
Your wedding day is one of your most important days of your life and so its natural to be a little nervous or anxious but don’t worry I’m highly experienced in how the wedding morning works and I’ll do everything I can to create a calm, relaxed environment, ensuring you and your bridesmaids enjoy the bridal preparations from start to finish! I will arrive at your home or venue at an agreed time ready to create your makeup for you and or your bridal party. I will require a clear space with a table for my kit and mirror ideally a plug socket would be a bonus. Brides makeup will take up to 90min for others 45min per face.
I will be there with you until you’re ready to leave for your ceremony, providing you with any last minute touch ups, and ensuring that your bridal look is polished, ready for your special day.
Your Wedding Party
A makeup trial for bridesmaids and/or Mother of the Bride/Groom is not essential but can be arranged (normally at the same time as the bride’s trial). I also need to ensure that the choice of make up for the bridal party is manageable in the time available on the wedding day itself. This will depend on a variety of factors, including the size of the wedding party. We discuss all this (and more!) at the make up trial. Sit back, relax and let me take care of your bridal party. Simply choose your gorgeous make-up look and I’ll leave your bridal party looking and feeling fabulous in time for the ceremony. If needed I can be accompanied by an assistant to help with time.
Bridal Hair Stytling Bridal Hair is not a service I provide myself, however I have worked with talented hairstylist who I can highly recommend.
