Flawless Bridal Makeup Tips
Get the most out of your bridal makeup trial
I highly recommend that you have your bridal trial in the daytime so you can see your makeup looks in natural light and wear a light-coloured top so you can see what the make-up looks like against a colour similar to your wedding dress. If possible so try to recreate your hair style(not the entire style, just up or down) so you can see what the make-up looks like with your hair either away from your face or falling beside it.
Choose your bridal makeup that makes you feel your best and confident
My advice for your bridal make-up is that you wear a look you feel comfortable and beautiful and confident in – whether that means recreating your staple every day make-up look or you go for a glam look. You’ll want your makeup to make you feel confident and the best version of your self.
Don’t be tempted to skip the blush
I know some brides find blush a little scarey, however its one of those products that can really transform your look and brighten up any skin tone so the lack of blush can inadvertently your makeup look flat, so a pop of colour on the apples of the cheek – my favourites are from Nars – are awesome for creating that healthy, blushing bride look.
Don’t be influenced by trends
Instagram and You Tube are full of trends some good and some bad and it can be overwhelming. Your makeup should be timeless classy and beautiful. Your makeup should skin tone Popular trends doesn’t always translate into a timeless bridal makeup look. A bride should look like the best version of herself and that make-up varies for every woman. You don’t want to look back and say to yourself “What was I thinking????” You can be open-minded and try new things well in advance but at the end of the day a bride should enhance her natural beauty and look herself – that will never go out of date!
